Matt is a composer, producer, audio engineer, and multi-instrumentalist. He has composed music for film and known for the original score to Matchbox, the 2022 Guignol Film Festival 1st place winner and recipient of the Best Picture Award. He has also composed music for video games which include titles like Nuke Them All (available on Steam) and Mini Donjon.
As an audio engineer and producer Matt has worked worked many roles in the record world and also in film. Services include include mixing, mastering, production, recording, surround mixing and post-production audio, and sound design. In 2022 alone, productions that Matt worked on garnered 100k in Spotify streams. Works to note include Zach Newbould from the 2022 season of the voice, rock band 19 Miles Per Hour and more. Matt was the leader of post-production sound on the feature film A Naughty Christmess Story which placed in the most popular section of Tubi. Matt mixed the score, sfx, dialogue, and did re-recording.
As a multi-instrumentalist, Matt has performed in countless music venues across the east coast with some of the finest musicians in the area and in varying musical atmospheres. He was the drummer for the late and grammy winning blues musician Luther “Guitar Junior” Johnson from 2017 - 2022. He has been seen performing in orchestras such as the New Hampshire Philharmonic, jazz ensembles, and many differing rock bands to name a few.
Matt is an assistant professor at Berklee College of Music where he teaches both in the Contemporary Writing and Production and Screen Scoring departments. Matt’s calling is to create and from his many skills he is suited as a Swiss Army knife for your art.
